1. Who operates Typozy
Typozy is operated by Saini Dev Apps, India. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Typozy Android application and typozy.com. Typozy is an Android text expansion and writing-assistance app. It can expand user-created shortcuts inside supported Android text fields and provide optional AI writing actions selected by the user.
3. Information Typozy processes
- Local app content: snippets, triggers, actions, selected media references, templates, categories, preferences and blocked-app settings stored for the installation.
- Account information: when Google Sign-In is used, Typozy processes the verified Google account identifier and available profile details such as email address, display name and avatar to create and maintain a Typozy account.
- Guest and device information: Guest Mode uses an installation or guest identifier. The backend may process app version, device association, session status and usage counters needed to provide the service and enforce limits.
- AI requests: text that the user deliberately submits to an AI writing action, the selected action, request metadata and the generated result.
- Billing and entitlement information: product, purchase and subscription status supplied through Google Play. Raw payment-card details are handled by Google Play and are not collected by Typozy.
- Support information: information a user sends by email or Instagram, including diagnostic details or screenshots the user chooses to provide.
4. Local snippets, text expansion and backups
Snippet, action, media and settings data is primarily installation-scoped and remains on the Android device unless the user deliberately exports a local backup or submits selected text to an online feature. Signing in with Google does not automatically upload the local snippet library.
Typozy uses Android's Accessibility Service only after the user enables it. The service is used to support text expansion, detect relevant text-field interactions and display Typozy controls in supported apps. Typozy is not designed to collect everything typed on the device. Compatibility and the information exposed by a text field vary by app and Android version.
Local backups are created only when requested by the user. Backup files may contain the app data selected for export and should be stored securely. Removing a Typozy account does not automatically remove local files or local app content.
5. Optional AI writing tools
When a user invokes Grammar Fix, Professional, Friendly, Improve, Expand, Shorten or another available AI writing action, Typozy sends the selected text and action information over an encrypted network connection to the Typozy backend and its configured AI processing services, which may include OpenRouter and DeepSeek. The result is returned to the device.
AI processing is optional and user-initiated. Do not submit passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details, government identifiers, health records or other highly sensitive information. Saini Dev Apps does not make a broader claim about a third-party provider's retention or model-training practices beyond that provider's current terms and privacy documentation.
6. Android services and permissions
- Accessibility Service: supports text expansion and writing controls in supported Android apps when the user enables it.
- Display over other apps / floating controls: supports the optional floating bubble and contextual Typozy interface where enabled.
- Internet access: used for AI requests, Google Sign-In, account sessions, entitlement checks, Play Integrity and support links.
- Notifications and foreground operation: may be used to keep user-enabled text expansion services available and to show required Android service status.
- Files or media selected by the user: Android may grant access to a file or media item chosen for a shortcut, import, export or backup workflow.
Users can disable Typozy services through the app or Android settings. Some features will stop working when required services are disabled.
7. Analytics and diagnostics
The current supplied Typozy app and website do not include Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics. The website does not include an advertising or behavioural-analytics script. Hosting and security providers may automatically process standard server logs such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested URL for delivery, reliability and abuse prevention.
8. Service providers and disclosure
Typozy may use Google services for Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Google Play Services and Play Integrity; configured AI providers for user-requested writing actions; and infrastructure providers for API hosting, databases, security and email delivery. Data is shared only as needed to provide those functions, comply with law, protect users or investigate misuse. Saini Dev Apps does not sell personal information.
9. Retention and deletion
- Local app content remains until the user deletes it, clears Typozy's Android storage or uninstalls the app.
- Account, session, device-association and usage information is retained while needed to operate the account, enforce limits, maintain security and meet legal obligations.
- Support correspondence may be retained while a request is handled and for a reasonable record-keeping period.
- Google Play maintains transaction records under its own policies. Saini Dev Apps may retain limited transaction, fraud-prevention or legal records where required.
See Delete Your Typozy Account for the deletion process and the distinction between account data and local device data.
10. Security
Typozy uses measures appropriate to the feature, including encrypted network transport, Android Keystore-backed protection for authentication material and sensitive local fields, server-side session controls, backend-enforced AI limits and Google Play verification for subscriptions. Local backups use password-based encryption when created through the supported encrypted-backup flow. No system can guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Typozy is not intended for children under 13. Users must be at least 13 years old and must have any consent required by local law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided account information contrary to this policy.
12. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than the user's country. Where this occurs, Saini Dev Apps relies on the provider's contractual and security measures and applicable legal safeguards.
13. Your choices and rights
Users can choose Guest Mode, decline Google Sign-In, disable Accessibility or overlay access, avoid AI tools, remove local app data and request account deletion. Depending on applicable law, users may also request access, correction or deletion of personal information by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify the request.
14. Changes to this policy
Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If an update materially changes how an account feature works, additional notice may be provided in the app where appropriate.
